Pietro Gottardo

Pietro is working with Prof. Michalak on the Lake Erie Project over the next year. He studied Environmental Engineering and Physics with a focus on Fluid Mechanics and Energy. Recently, he completed a 4-month research internship in Montreal where he explored turbulent flows in Standing Column Wells. He is currently a first-year graduate student in Stanford's Civil & Environmental Engineering Department, which is enabling him to deepen his expertise in Atmosphere and Energy topics. He's excited to bring this knowledge to the project! Outside of work, he enjoys playing rugby and hiking.
