Weiwei Zhan
Weiwei Zhan is a PhD student at Columbia University and currently a visiting student at Carnegie Institution for Science. She studies the responses of terrestrial ecosystems to climate change, such as rising atmospheric CO2 and climate extremes, by leveraging eddy-covariance measurements, remote sensing and machine learning approaches. Weiwei’s research interests include land-atmosphere interactions, plant ecology, and eco-hydrology. Prior to her PhD studies, Weiwei received a B.S. degree in Environmental Science from Beijing Normal University in 2019.
